JF1 from Jacquemus and Nike will be sold this month.
As early as February of this year (that is, not long after the official release of the collaboration of Nike and Tiffany), Jacquemus had released a notice of the new collaboration with Nike. After nearly four months of silence, the two sides officially released a new collaboration products a few days ago.
This is the second cooperation between Jacquemus and Nike after the first joint venture last year. The two sides brought a new pair of shoes, JF1.
The JF1 is composed of two Nike shoes, namely the classic Air Force 1 and the niche ACG Terra. Simon Porte Jacquemus said that these two are his favorite Nike shoes.
The shoe body of the JF1 basically retains the design of the Air Force 1, but cancels the iconic huge Swoosh on the side and replaces it with a mini metal Swoosh - consistent with the previous cooperation products between the two parties. A small but delicate Swoosh adds elegance to the entire shoe.
In terms of details, the AF1 on the metal shoelace buckle is naturally replaced by JF1; the tongue is decorated with the Swoosh logo and J Force 1; the logos of both sides are embossed on the heel, echoing the overall softer style.
The special shoelace stitching design on the sole comes from ACG Terra. In 2007, Nike used this special design technique on many pairs of shoes, such as the ACG Terra. In Jacquemus' rendition, this woven structure injects just the right amount of chic into the Air Force 1's simple body.
The JF1 is equipped with a special leather lace head with an embossed logo that echoes the details of the underlying woven structure.
This JF1 is available in two colors: the most classic, pure white, and pure black. It will be first released through JACQUEMUS on June 13th and then land on Nike's various channels on June 21st.
The combination of Volkswagen's Air Force 1 and the unpopular ACG Terra removes the big logo, simplifies the complexity, and adds many ingenious details. Please continue to pay attention if you like it!
